BARC (The Broadcast Audience Research Council) has finally dropped the list of India’s 10 most popular television shows TRP ratings for this week. The list of highest TRP of Indian serials this week (June 2019) has been topped by none other than Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke after a long time. You should be noted that the TRP rating of Television serials is basically based on the rural and urban viewership across original airings during prime time. The BARC shows the TRP ratings of Hindi serials and also the of the Reality Shows from all TV channels in India, from June 3 to current week.
Best Romantic Hindi Serials 2017. Dil Se Dil Tak This popular Hindi serial premiered on January 30, 2017. It tells the viewer a story of the forbidden love between Parth and Shovari. In this week’s list, the Star Plus bagged the first position in the Urban Viewership section followed by Sony Entertainment Television and colours. In the list of this week’s TRP rating, Shrenu Parikh and Zain Imam’s Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna has managed to enter with 9.9 points at the 10th position.
1. Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke ( 33.0 points):
Yeh RIshtey Hai Pyaar Ke has finally managed to bag the top position after a long time. It is an Indian television romantic drama series which airs on Star Plus TV channel and Hotstar. The show is a spin-off of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The story of the show revolves around the journey of Mishti with a lively and carefree Abir as her aide and questions the age-old concepts of arranged marriages, relationships and love.
The show is produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Productions, it stars Rhea Sharma and Shaheer Sheikh who portray Mishti Agarwal and Abir Rajvansh. The show has managed to garner the first position after a long time with 33.0 points.
2. Kasuati Zindagi Kay (31.2 points)
This week’s most-watched Hindi Television serial Kasauti Zindagi Kay is also known as KZK. Created by Ekta Kapoor Balaji Telefilms airs on Star Plus Channel in India. The show has been running on TV for more than seven years featuring Shweta Tiwari, Cezzane Khan (who was later replaced by Hiten Tejwani), and Ronit Roy in lead roles.
The roles of the lead protagonist are played by Urvashi Dholakia and Geetanjali Tikekar. The show talks about the story of Anurag and Prerna who fall for each other but they never unite because of Komolika who plots against them. It describes Anurag and Prerna — lovers who were separated throughout their lives but achieved union in death.
It has become India’s thirds longest running Hindi TV series after Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. The show recorded one of the highest TRPs and introduced many popular faces like Shweta Tiwari, Cezzane Khan, Urvashi Dholakia, Ronit Roy and Geetanjali Tikekar.
Kasauti Zindagi Kay is aired on Star Plus from Mon to Fri at 9.00 PM. It has been slipped from the first to the second position with 31.2 points this week.
3. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (28.0 points)
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is an Indian Television show, whose first show was aired on StarPlus on 3 December 2013. It was created by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor and produced by their production company Balaji Telefilms. The show features Divyanka Tripathi, Karan Patel and Anita Hassanandani.
The story of the show is partially based on Manju Kapur’s novel, Custody. Set in Delhi, the show follows the love story of Tamil dentist Dr Ishita Iyer and Punjabi CEO Raman Kumar Bhalla. In the show, Ishita is shown as infertile, who is emotionally attached to Raman’s daughter, Ruhi, who lives with her divorced father. Due to some circumstances, Raman and Ishita marry each other. The show has won over 50 awards.
On 9 December 2016, the show completed its 1,000th episode.[11][12] The show completed 1,500 episodes on 13 June 2018. The show managed to maintain the third position with 28.0 points.
4. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (25.5 points)
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is a Hindi TV serials which air on weekdays on Star Plus and streams on the digital platform Hotstar. The first episode of this season was aired on 12 January 2009 and now it is one of the longest running Indian television series. The show is produced by Rajan Shahi under the banner of Director’s Kut Productions.
The show initially had Hina Khan and Karan Mehra as the main character, and 2016 onward, featured Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan in lead roles. In March 2019, its popularity led to the creation of a spin-off titled “Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke”, starring Rhea Sharma and Shaheer Sheikh.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is aired on Star Plus from Mon to Fri at 9.30 PM. The Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan’s show sees good growth this week with 25.5 points.
5. Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai (21.2 points)
Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai is also one of the most watched TV shows in India. It airs in Hindi on Sony TV. The first episode of the show was premiered on Sony TV on 5 September 2017. Unlike all TV shows, it is produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions. The show has managed to draw people’s attention and has become a talk of the town in two years.
The serial features Ashi Singh and Randeep Rai as Naina and Sameer respectively. The show is based on the youngsters’ love story and is set in the 1990s. It is inspired by the real-life love story of producers Shashi and Sumeet Mittal.
The show has been critically acclaimed for its performances and script. Critics have also praised its setting that correctly shows the viewers how the 1990s were. The show has managed to get listed on number 5 in terms of TRP rating with 21.2 points this week.
6. The Kapil Sharma Show (19.0 points)
Kapil Sharma’s comedy show named ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has finally found a place on number 6 in most-watched TV shows in India. The comedy show broadcast by Sony Entertainment Television. It is to be noted that the first season of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show was premiered on 23 April 2016 and it was produced by Kapil Sharma’s production house K9 Films in association with Frames Productions.
Notably, Kapil’s latest show is being produced by Salman Khan Television and Banijay Asia with K9 Films and (TEAM Triumph Entertainment & Media) as the creative producers. The filming of the show took place at Film City situated in Goregaon East, Mumbai.
The Kapil Sharma Show, which aired on Sony Entertainment Television. The show got 19.0 points for the current week.
7. Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala (17.0 points)
Kullgi Kumar Bajewala is an Indian musical television series, whose first episode was premiered on 19 March 2018. The show airs on StarPlus and Hotstar. Produced by Gul Khan, Gul Khan, Karishma Jain, Nilanjana Purkayasstha and Herumb Khot and directed by Pradeep Yadav, Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala features Aakriti Sharma, Mohit Malik, Anjali Anand, Myra Singh, Vishal Aditya Singh and Shruti Sharma in the lead role.
The soundtrack of the show is composed and written by Sargam Jassu, Nakash Aziz and Shashank Kunar, Divyanidhi Sharma respectively. Notably, the show is an official adaptation of Bengali Television series Potol Kumar Gaanwala which aired on Star Jalsha in 2015.
The story of the show revolves around the journey of a young singing prodigy Kullfi, who encounters all kinds of hardships to unite with her father, Sikandar Singh Gill.
Talking about this week’s TRP of Kullfi Kumar Bajewala, the Show is aired on Star Plus. The show got 17.0 points this week.
8. Kumkum Bhagya (15.5 points)

Kumkum Bhagya is yet another Indian serial which comes under top 5 Indian TV Serials of May 2019 by BARC TRP Rating. It is also created and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms for Zee TV. Its first show was premiered on 15 April 2014 starring Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia in the lead roles.
The show has always been in the news for the chemistry of the leads. Kumkum Bhagya received acclaim throughout its run, becoming one of the most popular television shows. Notably, Kumkum Bhagya had won 50 Awards so far in various categories including the Award for “Best Tv Show” 4 times.

9. Tujhse Hai Rabta (12.9 points)
The number 10 position in the list of India’s most watched Television Channel for this week has been bagged by Tujhse Hai Rabta. It is an Indian drama show showing the unspoken connection between non-blood related people. Produced by Sonali and Amir Jaffer under the banner — Full House Media — the first show of Tujhse Hai Rabta was premiered on 3 September 2018 on Zee TV.
The show features Reem Sheikh, Poorva Gokhale, Sehban Azim, Rajat Dahiya and Shagun Pandey. It has been a hit with the audiences since its premiere and has maintained a position on the TRP charts ever since.
Talking about this week’s TRP, the Show is aired on Zee TV. Tujhse Hai Raabta has finally got 12.9 this week and garnered ninth position in the list of most watched TV shows.
10. EK Bhram — Saravagun Sampanna (9.9 points)
This is the first time when Shrenu Parikh starrer TV show has finally found a place in top 10 Hindi TV serials in India. The show aires on Star Plus and can also be watched on Hotstar. The first show of Ek Bhram – Sarvagun Sampanna was premiered on 22 April this year. This serial is produced by Sunny Side Up Films, which features Shrenu Parikh and Zain Imam.
The story of Ek Brahm – Sarvagun Sampanna revolves around Jhanvi who is an ideal daughter-in-law for the family but in reality, she will be their biggest enemy.. Her real motive will be kept secret for some time. The popularity and viewership of the show have phenomenally increased over the period of time. The show has finally made it entry into India’s most watched TV serials with 9.9 points.
